What we do

At AM Play Therapy North Somerset, we are dedicated to supporting children's emotional and mental well-being. Our approach is grounded in child development, neuroscience and neuroplasticity of the brain, which helps us view each child as an individual with unlimited potential for growth. In our work with children, we incorporate sand therapy, art therapy, music, multiple categories of toys, symbols, and arts and crafts, to facilitate self-expression and meaningful communication in the most child-friendly way. Using play as children's means of communication, we reach their unconscious mind to assist them in processing adverse experiences and overcoming challenges. Each session is tailored to the unique needs of each child, fostering a safe and nurturing environment for their growth and healing.
